Our Return Policy

At Handcraft Haven, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Return Period

You may return most unopened items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. For items that have been opened or used, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions outlined below.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be in the same condition as when you received it
  • Be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging
  • Include all original tags, labels, and accessories
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are non-returnable for health and safety reasons:

  • Custom or personalized items that have been specifically made for you
  • Downloadable digital products (patterns, e-books)
  • Items that have been used, damaged, or altered after delivery
  • Gift cards and store credits
  • Items purchased during clearance or final sale events

Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at welcome@giftsartboutique.cv or call us at +1 (720) 434-9343 within the return period to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  2. Prepare Your Return: Package the item securely in its original packaging, if possible. Include your order number and RA number on the package.
  3. Ship Your Return: Send the package to our return address (provided with your RA number) using a trackable shipping method. We recommend using insurance for valuable items.
  4. Receive Your Refund: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5-10 business days.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item was defective or we sent you the wrong item. In cases where we are at fault, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse your return shipping costs.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days. The amount refunded will be for the item cost only and will not include original shipping charges, unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size, color, or style, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the item you want. To expedite this process, you can place your new order immediately, and we will process your return refund as soon as we receive the returned item.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately at welcome@giftsartboutique.cv or call +1 (720) 434-9343. Please include photos of the defect or damage. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly, which may include:

  • Replacement of the defective item at no cost to you
  • Full refund including return shipping costs
  • Store credit for the purchase amount

Yarn Remnants Exchange Program

Our yarn remnants exchange program is separate from our standard return policy. For information about exchanging yarn remnants for bonus points, please visit our Crafts Club page or contact us directly.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at welcome@giftsartboutique.cv.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded unless they are defective or damaged. Items purchased during special promotions may be subject to different return terms, which will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will find out about your return.
